2. Purpose of Collection and Use

We collect and process personal data for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Investor Verification & Compliance –Conduct KYC, AML, and due diligence checks as mandated by SEBI and Indian law.
  • Deal Access & Execution –Enable approved investors to view, filter, and participate in capital raise opportunities.
  • NDA & EOI Management –Track investor-specific NDA sign-offs and expressions of interest for regulatory compliance.
  • Personalized Experience –Provide tailored deal recommendations based on sector, stage, and geography preferences.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention –Authenticate users, protect against unauthorized access, and maintain audit trails.
  • Legal & Regulatory Obligations –Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA (for cross-border investments), and other applicable frameworks.
  • Communications –Share transaction updates, deal alerts, newsletters, or regulatory notices with investors.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal data. However, data may be disclosed in the following cases on a need to know basis:

  • Issuers –Limited investor details (post-NDA) may be shared with issuers for allocation discussions.
  • Regulatory Authorities –SEBI, RBI, Income Tax Department, or other regulators, when legally mandated.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • Investor passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing.
  • Sensitive documents (PAN, NDA, EOI, financial data) are stored in encrypted file paths within secure servers.
  • All API endpoints are JWT token-protected to prevent unauthorized access.
  • We adopt ISO/IEC 27001-aligned security standards for handling sensitive personal and financial data.
  • Access to investor data is restricted to authorized personnel under strict role-based controls.

5. Retention of Data

  • Investor account data is retained for as long as the account remains active.
  • Regulatory data (KYC, NDA, EOI, investment records) is retained for 7 years or longer as required under SEBI guidelines and the Companies Act, 2013.
  • Upon account deletion, data may be archived for compliance but will no longer be visible on the platform.

6. Your Rights as an Investor

As per Indian data protection principles, you have the following rights:

  • Access & Review –Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Correction & Updates –Rectify inaccurate or outdated information.
  • Withdrawal of Consent –Opt-out of non-essential communications.
